This concept explores the idea of perceiving oneself from a novel perspective—wearing the skin inside out, exposing the sensitive parts to the outside world. It delves into body practices and self-perception, challenging traditional notions of identity and vulnerability. The artwork also evolves into an exploration of sculpting, using fabric as a malleable material to represent the body’s contours and textures. Through this process, it emphasizes the tactile relationship between the body and material, blurring the lines between the organic and the crafted, and inviting viewers to reconsider notions of inner versus outer, concealment and exposure, and the transformative potential of self-creation.
