This concept explores the idea of perceiving oneself from a novel perspective—wearing the skin inside out, exposing the sensitive parts to the outside world. It delves into body practices and self-perception, challenging traditional notions of identity and vulnerability. The artwork also evolves into an exploration of sculpting, using fabric as a malleable material to represent the body’s contours and textures. Through this process, it emphasizes the tactile relationship between the body and material, blurring the lines between the organic and the crafted, and inviting viewers to reconsider notions of inner versus outer, concealment and exposure, and the transformative potential of self-creation. Starting point of my work was to concentrate on the ecological side of art production and rethinking of what art work is in times of overproduction, overconsumption and ecological crisis. I’ve dedicated some time during my residency to collect plastic pieces, flying around area in South of Spain - pollution from agricultural 
and turistic industries, impacting ground and sea area, as well as flora and fauna of region.&#38;nbsp;

	As a resident at Curtidas art space in Barcelona, starting point of my work was contemplation the Vitrinas (two big windows at space) as borders between the individual and the collective, the art and the neighbourhood, the ordinary and the extraordinary, the private and the public and idea of “reading” the voice of city through fabrics and visual sighns, dominiered in it and respond to that.&#38;nbsp; As I walk around the city I found that the main sighn is a sighn of catalanian freedome and sighn asking about scilence.
This sighn can be read as a one unit of drawn wave line, or as a part of a grid, reminding fish skin. That was the main element I use in my drawings. Drawing it with more expressiveness I get my answer to the city, wich along with port atmosphere,&#38;nbsp; leads me to idea of sea life with mermaids, sea creatures and noir esthetic of american movie form 60 “Night tide”. I was working on series of drawing on fabric and paper, water color paintings on papaer, as well as with space of residency and rooftop of the building.&#38;nbsp;

Anatomy of hillspen on paper, 29,7*42 cm, Germany, 2025

	The cycle of drawings, created during summer 2025 in South of Germany (Baden-Württemberg). My main inspiration was his majesty landscape. Its scale, colors, constant change. As I can see where the Sky meets the Earth. As well as texture of grass fields covering those hills.
As I reasearched artistic tradition of region - esthetic of old printing technique etching cathed my heart entirely. But I wanted to get out of studio and get into nature while working. Pen and paper therefore was all I have.

Saint Agatha

Series of oil on canvas paintings and sculptures created in January, 2024 
in Italy during my residency at Domus, Itlay.

by Nicolo Ferrando from the basilica of Santa Caterina d’Alessandria, Galatina, Italy, 
depicting story of Saint Agata. 

My aim was to pay attention to the idea of female sacrification, 
which often leads to tolerance towards domestic violence and cruelty.

Mixed media work about golden fish taking a breath and I can see a trajectory of this moving by seing reflexion of light on its glassy skin. It consist of painting on textile and ink drawings on paper.
 Whole work size is 150*200 cm, created in 2026 in Warsaw, Poland.
